A Picture-Perfect Summer Wedding at Heritage Park

Last summer, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a stunning wedding at Heritage Park in Calgary — a venue that always brings a bit of magic with its vintage charm and scenic views.

The day started with a beautiful "first look" tucked away under the trees, where the couple saw each other for the first time before the ceremony. That quiet moment, full of emotion and anticipation, was easily one of my favorites of the day. You could feel the love radiating between them! A moment straight out of a fairytale.

The ceremony itself was nothing short of gorgeous. Surrounded by friends, family, and the timeless beauty of the park, the couple exchanged vows in front of the stunning Prince House. The light was golden, the setting intimate, and the atmosphere was filled with so much joy.

Throughout the day, I captured so many tender, in-between moments — one of my favourites being the moment between Melissa & her Grandma. It’s always those candid moments that tell the truest story.

Heritage Park provided the perfect backdrop for this beautiful love story, and I'm so grateful I got to be part of it.
